Not only Greeks...I've noticed that people in my country and in the countries around are finally starting to use the Fyrom name. Nothing against you guys but the Greek Makedonia was there historically first whether you like it or not. Fyrom is Fyrom or Vardarska but it's not Makedonia or Macedonia. And don't get me wrong, I'm Slavic like the Fyrom people but I must admit, the Greeks were there first and Makedonia is their name.

Your right about something,but have you ever seen the old map of Macedonia? North "Greece" was part of Macedonia till 1913,and with the Treaty of Bucharest(1913),Greece expands it's territory in Southern Macedonia with killing and banishment of the macedonian people. And no one of EU countries says a word about that massacre, because Greece was helped with airplanes from England and France for the bombing of the villages. And there is the reason for our entrance in EU, France(Sarkozi)must do what Greece says,for the greater good of France of course,or else the truth will be exposed...
That is not fair.
And that is Greece politic, bombing, buying artifacts on the black market to change the history and etc...

In ancient times, Greece was splited into many city-states ,one of the was named Macedonia.So Macedonia was and is a part Greece as far as history is concerned.
Greeks don't change history.They leave this to FYROM.

I know Greece pretty well and I don't think that bombing is the Greek politics as you call it. However, I've seen quite a lot of very aggressive people from Fyrom not willing to have a reasonable discussion with anyone just yelling out bad words and threads of murder to the people who has different opinions. I'm not Greek so I think I'm an unbiased watcher and this is what I see. I don't see Greek people being generally bad to some other nation but I've seen enough foreigners living in Greece, taking advantage of the country and being very bad to the Greek people who were actually paying their taxes to help these foreigners.

u cant judge a contry on the behavior of few. that goes for greek and macedonia. and the reason why we may act aggressive is because we are sick and tired of this dispute that leads nohwere. You say we are always threathning people to kill them and stuff...have u ever read what greek people say, and seen how they react?...at the end...we all proteckt our own intrests...u cant say we can not call ours selfs the way we want...its our own right to call our selfs as we god dame pleas...and by the way...the ancient macedonia was not only the greek macedonia, or todays macedonia, or even the bulgarian part...it used to be all part of one big teritory, called macedon, the philip II and alexandar the great teriory...even the greeks admit that..evry ancient map of alexanders kingdom has it...so..if my country lies on a teritory that used to be a part of once great empire..then i have the right to call my self macedonian and my country macedonia as much as the greeks have their, to call there north part macedonia...so f*** all you haters out there....I AM MACEDONIAN FROM MACEDONIA

Philip and Alexander spoke greek worshiped greek deities and left behind monuments and lore made the greek way.

But you're right: you can call youselves whatever you want, as long as you don't frame or insult others.
