For all the others, it's Republic of Macedonia.

or Republika Makedonija.

I don't call it Macedonia because of any political tendency, but because it's shorter... xP Why the heck would say "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia"?

But this sun of vergina is an ancient greek symbol.
It was unearthed in 1977 during excavations in Vergina (greek city), by (the greek) archaeologist Manolis Andronikos. Isnt this correct?

It's sad to see people from other countries saying they like to call this country Macedonia, just plain sad. Slavs should be proud of their herritage and not saying they are something they re not, ancients Macedonias worshiped Greek gods spoke Greek and had Greek customs, they fought with other Greek cities as all Greek cities did with each other. Seeing people say something they re not just so they can have an identity it's just sad. If Alexander the Great or Aristotle weren't from Macedonia we would not have this issue now. Do you know what the Sun of Vergina, ([link])stands for? Saying your Macedonian is the same as saying you're Greek
